June 2008 Reno - Tahoe market statistics….

As I have mentioned before, I have access to a lot of stats from anywhere from the University of Nevada’s Center for Regional Studies data prepared by Brian Kaiser to the back of a napkin over lunch.
My fellow Realtor Mitch Argon does such a great job of keeping it simple and relevent that I am compelled to pass it on, with his permission of course.
Keep in mind, my own personal preference and model is a per square foot analysis, this (report), with all due respect is a mediun price which can be skewed by extreme high and low sales. Paul Armstrong and I are working on a breakdown of per square foot average in different price points and areas, we will of course share it with you when we complete it.
I am also putting a link for my December 2007 posting on this blog calling for a stabilization on June 12, 2008 for certain areas of Reno (established areas in demand areas) and my Spring of 2004 top of the market blog. I don’t know if I am being conceited, proud, or a little bit of both but the numbers indicate that I somewhat nailed it (predicting the top and the bottom so far). Here is the link, they are the two at the bottom: http://renohomestalk.com/category/local-market/
In any event, here is the report released in June: Greater Tahoe -Reno report
