Who knew Somersett had so many residents looking to get some fresh produce? By Stephanie Hanna

The Somersett Farmer’s Markets have been absolutely packed this summer. But unlike the Spark’s Market that has become more of a “Meat Market,” this Farmer’s Market is full of great produce, families and good times.

While I would still like to see a few more produce options I can’t complain about much else. The prices for the food are pretty comparable to what you’d find in the grocery store, but you just can’t beat a farm-fresh fruit or vegetable that you buy at a local market.

If you live in a Somersett Home or Condo, the Somersett Market is a great way to see your friends and Somersett neighbors. It really gives the area the sense of community that you just can’t find in other parts of town. If you don’t live up here, it’s definitely still worth it to stop by, especially if you’ve never seen our neck of the woods. In addition to the produce booths, there are some gourmet food booths, a wood-working booth, chair massages, flower vendors, and a few other things to check out. There was also a band and it was hilarious to watch all the little kids rock out.

The Roundabout Somersett Market has awesome food specials and you have to try their homemade strawberry lemonade…delicious.  The Whispering Vine also has some wine and drink specials which I can now partake in, given that I just had my baby a few weeks ago.

Hope to see you there!
